An Indian Naga spiritual, freedom fighter and political leader. Popularly known as the “Queen of the Nagas”. Received the title of “Daughter of the Hills” from Jawaharlal Nehru.

Birsa Munda

Pivotal Indian tribal freedom fighter, religious leader, and folk hero. He is also known as “Dharti Abba” (father of the land).

Savitribai Phule

A prominent Indian social reformer, poet, and educator. She is widely known as the first female teacher in India and played a crucial role in the women’s liberation movement.

A Shudra woman, an Indian businesswoman, entrepreneur, Zamindar, philanthropist. Founder of the Dakshineswar Kali Temple.

Sidho Murmu   Kanho Murmu

Sidho Murmu and Kanho Murmu were Indian tribal freedom fighters who led the Santhal rebellion in 1855-1856 against British colonial rule and the exploitative zamindari system in present-day Jharkhand and parts of Bengal. They were brothers and played a key role in mobilizing the Santhal community to fight for their rights and self-governance.

Sri Sri Guruchand Thakur

1846-1937

Indian reformer, worked for the upliftment of the untouchable peoples in the Indian society. Led the Matua sect of Hindus. Established many schools for the upliftment of the Dalit community.
