Pre-Submission checklist

  1. Focus on Scholarly Research:

    The journal's primary purpose is to publish high-quality research in the field of multidisciplinary research.

  2. Standard Guidelines:

    While not a legal or regulatory framework, the journal has established guidelines for contributors to ensure consistency and quality in published papers.

  3. Peer Review:

    As a peer-reviewed journal, the submitted papers undergo rigorous scrutiny by experts in the field to ensure the scientific merit and quality of the research. Peer review a process where experts from a specific field or discipline evaluate the quality of a peer’s research thus ensuring the validity, quality and often the originality of articles for publication. All submissions to JERMS will be first reviewed for completeness by an Editor. Then the manuscript will be sent for peer review. Every submission will undergo a peer review, and if required, the manuscript may be sent for an additional review. Where an Editor is on the author list or has any other competing interest regarding a specific manuscript, another member of the Editorial Board will be assigned to oversee peer review. Editors will consider the peer-reviewed reports when making a decision, but they will not be bound by the opinions or recommendations therein. A concern raised by a single peer reviewer or the Editor themselves may result in the manuscript being rejected. Authors will receive peer review reports with the editorial decision on their manuscript(s).

    Process of review of papers and their publication in the journal -

    Paper submitted by the contributors are sent to reviewers selected by the Editorial Board or Board of Editors or Managing Editor/s. Chief Editor/s or Managing Editor/s act as convener of the Editorial Board. On receiving the comments from the reviewer/s the paper is sent back to the author/s for its revision, if needed. The two categories of papers one okayed by the reviewers and the other revised by the authors are scrutinized by the editor, along with other members of the Editorial Board, Chief Editor(s), or Managing Editor(s). The edited papers are then sent for electronic publication.

  4. Frequency of Publication:

    Journal for Equitable Research in Multidisciplinary Studies will publish half early.

  5. Contributions:

    Contributors are expected to adhere to the journal's guidelines regarding manuscript format, citation styles, and other relevant aspects.
